ITINERARY AT A GLANCE

                                    South India Tour

Day 01: Arrival Cochin
On Arrival at Cochin Airport, Our office representative will meet you at Airport and transfer to Pre-booked hotel for night stay.

Rest of the day free to leisure activities.

Day 02: Cochin – Munnar(120 Kms  / 03.30 Hrs )
After breakfast at Hotel, Later Half day sightseeing tour of Cochin - a fishing port and cosmopolitan hub. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, you will visit the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace on Mattancherry Island and St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. See the huge Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Lastly, you will halt at the Willingdon Island, an artificial island created from the sand dug out while deepening Kochi port. It has been named after Lord Willingdon, the erstwhile Madras governor, who was instrumental in implementing the island project. 

Later drive to Later drive to Munnar, On Arrival at Munnar check in your pre-booked hotel for night stay. Munnar is a magnificent hill station in the Western Ghats at about 5000 feet above sea level. This is one of the best hill stations in Kerala and is the major centre of Kerala's tea industry. Munnar sightseeing will be an interestingly different experience. From adventure, to plantation trails and nature, Munnar offers something special for everyone. The tea gardens of Munnar make an important item in any Munnar itinerary. A guided tour will let you watch the various steps of tea production in the tea factories right from plucking the leaves to sorting,  drying and grinding of leaves. You can also buy freshly packed tea leaves as mementos of your trip to Munnar. 

Close to the hill resort of Munnar lies the Devikulam Lake, which is a great spot to unwind and relax. You can try out angling in the lake or explore the island in the lake with prior permission from the authorities.17 km from Munnar is the Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many large wild animals like deer , bison and elephants. Trekking is another must do activity in this sanctuary. No trip to Munnar will be complete without a trip to Eravikulam National Park, which is the home of the highly endangered Nilgiri tahrs, which are seen only in Munnar and in some isolated pockets along the Nilgiri biosphere.

Day3: In Munnar

Next morining after breakfast proceed for sightseeing. Major sightseeing attractions are the Kundale tea plantation, Eravikulam National Park, The High Range Club, Top Station, Mattuppetty, Devikulam, Rajamalai, Chithirapuram, Marayoor, Pallivasal / Pothamedu, etc.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (120 Kms / 03 Hrs)
After early morning breakfast check out of the hotel at 0900 and move to Thekkady by surface . On arrival check in at pre-booked hotel, freshen up and enjoy the welcome drink. Later go on for a spice plantation tour to see Cardamom, Cinnamon, Pepper and coffee plantation and later you can also go for a boating in the scenic Periyar Lake located at the heart of the wildlife sanctuary. Here see the varied species of wild animals and birds in their natural home making an astonishing move that gives you a thrilling experience. Return back to Hotel.

Day 5:Thekkady – Kumarakom 125 Kms / 02.30 Hrs)  
After breakfast  at Hotel, Later you will be taken on a scenic drive to Kumarakom near Kottayam,  On arrival at Kumarakom, check-in at your pre-booked hotel for night stay.

Nestled on the shores of Kerala’s Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is a cluster of sleepy islands ideal for boating, fishing, bird-watching and nature walks.

Day 6: Kumarakom – Alleppey (25 Kms / 01 Hrs)
After breakfast at Hotel, Later drive to Allpepey and called Venice of the East. A town with picturesque canals, backwaters & lagoons, It has a wonderful past, it owes its existence to the sagacious Diwan Raja Kesavadas in the second half of 18th century. Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams & canals with lush green coconut palms, was well known even from the early periods of the Sangam age. History says Alappuzha had trade relations with ancient Greece & Rome in the pre Jesus era. Alleppey is now the hub for backwaters tourism in Kerala. 

On arrival we board the Houseboat, locally called Kettuvallam, cruise around backwaters of Alleppey to observe & experience the daily life of the villagers along the backwaters. Holiday on the houseboats are an out-of-this-world experience.

Day 7: Alleppey – Kovalam (165 Kms / 02.30 Hrs)
Enjoy the healthy morning breakfast and leisure time on houseboat. Later at 0900 Hrs boat arrives at Alleppey finishing point jetty. On arrival check out and we transfer you to Kovalam. Kovalam is one of the finest beach resort and is globally acclaimed for its scenic beauty, un-spoilt surrounding, pristine water and the heavenly ambiance surround by the swaying coconut trees. Here visit to the three adjacent crescent beaches among which the Lighthouse beach is very famous and popular. Rest of the day enjoy at leisure at the serene beach enjoying the serene surrounding.

Day 8: In Kovalam
Kovalam has perfectly evolved to be world class beach destination today. The word "Kovalam" literally means a coconut grove and true to its name, the palm fringed rocky beaches of Kovalam and its surrounding villages offer the pleasant views of endless expanses of coconut trees even today.  Kovalam beach, which is in the shape of a half moon has three distinct parts of which the light house beach, which is in the southern most end is the most popular. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach.

Day 9: Kovalam – Kanyakumari - Kovalam
After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari. On arrival Visit Visit Kumari Amman Temple, Three Seas Mingle Point, Vivekananda Rock Memorial Thiruvalluvar Statue, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Mandapam and view sunset .Evening return back to Kovalam.

Day 10: In Koavalam

After breakfast at Hotel, Later full day free to leisure activtes.

Day 11: Departure from Trivendrum

After breakfast at Hotel, Later transfer to Trivendrum airport to Board the flight for your home..
